About Me
When I first discovered UX design, it felt like the perfect blend of creativity and helping others. Still, doubt led me down another path; I earned a B.S. in Psychology from UC Irvine and pursued Human Resources to promote inclusion and accessibility.
During my job search, I grew frustrated with poorly designed application websites: unreadable text, confusing layouts, and inaccessible forms made an already stressful process even harder. I started redesigning these interfaces in my free time, and it reignited my passion. That’s when I realized: UX design is about creating intuitive, enjoyable experiences that truly serve users.
My time in HR deepened my understanding of people’s needs, and now I bring that empathy into my design work. Cultivating thoughtful, user-centered experiences is not just my passion; it’s the work that makes me feel most alive.
Hobbies
As someone who is often described as “antsy”, I love to try new things! Life can feel very stagnant, especially when we fall into the same old routines, so I’ve made it my personal mission to keep myself busy and constantly learn. I love to cook and bake (I make a mean loaf of banana bread), play video games, and write food reviews with recommendations to share with my friends! I really enjoy crafting as well, whether it be creating Gel-X press-on nails or crafting clay keychains.
